About ten years ago, Better Homes And Gardens regularly included a page dedicated to a great little house. Most of the designs were inspired by the Craftsman style and all under 2000 sq. ft. Here are two I’ve saved.
#1. On the first floor there’s the combined living and dining room, the kitchen with an island and breakfast area, the half-bath and the laundry facilities. Upstairs under the English-style hipped roof there are the master bedroom suite, the two other bedrooms, a full bath and a loft/study.
#2. A narrow house for a narrow lot- living room, dining room, home office/guest room, kitchen, laundry room, and half bath make up the ground floor. The second floor includes master bedroom/bath with walk in closet, two good sized bedrooms and full bath.
I’d sure like to know if any of these were built.

Hi Mari-
I love treehouses, too! My father built one for us kids years ago. I wonder if it’s still up in that tree…:)
