When my grandfather died, I remember visiting his green house and his potting shed for the last time. I felt close to him looking at his garden tools and clay pots. The same can be said for these photos of British master gardener/photographer Valerie Finnis‘ home. Although she died in 2006, her spirit still pervades these rooms.

Wow!! Absolutely stunning!! Which issue is this from?
Chelsea,
Just picked this April 2009 issue up last night…mainly for the photos of Finnis’ home. It exudes so much personality- rumpled sofas, lots of paintings, etc. Sadly, the house is now disbanded.
