When we think of a suit, it’s usually defined as a jacket paired with either pants or a skirt. However, this spring/summer the suit now includes the warm weather basic- shorts!
A great blue and white suit from Orla Kiely has some nice details- banded shorts, three quarter sleeves on the jacket, and lots of buttons.
Preppy beige suit by Georgie (212-625-2000) gets fun with cuffed pleated shorts and a men’s tie replacing the belt. Striped shirt available at the Gap.
