I’ve attended a lot of weddings but only one where the bride wore pants- it was a white pants suit to be exact. Reflecting back on it, my friend’s decision to wear pants fit her personality and style. I don’t remember ever seeing her in a dress. The wedding was small and intimate and didn’t require a gown. What did the groom think? He didn’t mind. He wore pants, too! :-)
The confident bride who decides to wear pants isn’t limited to a suit. Try a soft layered approach instead. Here linen pants are worn with a delicate hand-knit sweater and a white-embossed duster coat.
Another layered option would be to pair the linen pants with a dressy satin top and hand knit cardigan. The metallic silver sandals are also a nice touch!
