Rockabilly Fashion

What in the world is ‘Rockabilly?’ It was first coined in the South during the 40’s and 50’s referring to an amalgam of rock’n’roll and hillbilly music. It produced a strong sub-culture that continues today with even a magazine geared toward those who want to live and dress the part.

For her there’s an ultra feminine full-skirted floral dress by Roberto Cavalli, fringed scarf from Beyond Retro and updo hairstyle. For him there’s a cool combination of prints and patterns all at Comme des Garcons Homme Plus.

Mix it up! Plaid shirt by Topman with window pane checked tracksuit bottoms at Diesel.

To complete the look- don’t forget the boot lace tie from Beyond Retro!

Lady, Lady–  She is wearing a Louis Vuitton black dress paired with fun printed knee socks by Transparenze. Accessories include pink scarf, cotton gloves and a Gucci clutch handbag.

More lady-like fashion is in a suit by Christian Dior. Her earrings are from Black Pearl.
