There are some people that embrace every new fad that rolls down the pike, only to become fashion victims. And then there are some people that stay true to themselves… like my friend Danielle. Her wardrobe reflects that attitude. It’s based on soft, easy to wear pieces- loose blouses, maxi skirts and blue denim. She also loves going without any makeup and keeping her hair long. After all, who has time to fuss with mascara or hair.  Life is too full of other things she’d rather be doing. :)

I saved this ebay image because it reminds me of a girl I knew in high school named Nina. Nina was quiet and soft spoken. But that was just a part of her. She could also be resolute and strong when she felt the viewpoints of her fellow students were not being heard. Nina was our class president and led us on several ‘walk outs’ protesting school policy.
