I was devastated at the thought of losing my round glasses when I recently needed new ones. The current pair was too old to re-use again and the hip shop where I got them had closed. Lo and behold, the long time Madison shop where I went looking for new frames carried my old ones. The biz is in the student district and the prices were so reasonable I got two pairs: one in a frosted almost translucent grayish and the other kind of a woody marbelized color. They are thick round frames like Iris Apfel wears, and the only glasses I’ve ever had where 20-something guys say “great glasses” to me.
Linda- I had a pair of round black wire rim glasses back in the 1990′s when I worked in the display department at Nordstrom. They got bent up when a fiberglass mannequin fell on me. I think I’d be safe now to get another pair…:)

Hi Beth- I don’t have a clue where to get a pair of socks like that. Kapital Jeans is a Japanese based company…so I figure that the stylist probably got them locally. But if I come across anything similar I’ll let you know. :)
