One of my favorite series on television was “The Jewel in the Crown” based on the last five years of British rule in India- with India being the jewel in England’s crown. So, when I saw these pictures of two Indian girls posing for the British bridal magazine Weddings I couldn’t help but feel that they (and really, all flower girls!) are the smallest jewels in a wedding.

I told the mothers of the 2 girls that will be my flower girls that it wasn’t a huge deal if they didn’t match the bridesmaids or me. I told them to go and buy a dress the girls would wear again in blue. Other than that, I’m leaving it up to them.
They will be so cute it won’t matter!
